A life long musician, artist, and craftsman, I fell in love with stringed instruments when I was 15 and have been playing ever since.  Fascinated with the craft and design of musical instruments, I tried my hand at repairing an old auction find and have been building stringed instruments ever since.  My instruments are distinctive in both design, and ornament.  While I love traditional instrument design, I revel in simple ornament which compliments the natural beauty of the materials I build with. Most of all, playability and tone are my highest priorities.
